Keith is checking out everything on the boat to make sure all is working properly so we are ready to head south as soon as we get back from Wisconsin.
In a few week we will drive back to Minnesota and Wisconsin for Doctor appointments, see the grand kids, hunting, and my get together with my sisters and nieces. After, we will drive back to the boat and start down the Tenn-Tom ourselves. We have never gone this late before so it should be interesting and I imagine pretty cold!
Tomorrow is my 5th anniversary for retirement. It was the best "treats" I ever got for Halloween.
CO's comments: The canal boat is made completely with wood with 2 coats of fiber glass. It was a good thing we checked everything on our boat because we found a leak in the transmission cooler. We are getting it fixed now.
Keith out for his nightly paddle in his kayak.
This boat belongs to one of the later Looper's. It is a canal boat. The bottom is relatively flat so I would imagine crossing Mobile Bay and the Gulf might be a bit bumpy.
