April 1, 2013, Snook Bight Marina

We are still here on the beach and enjoying every minute of it.  We really like our marina and will probably come back again next year.

3-26-2013; Dave and Pat, our good friends from Minnesota who spend their winters down here, invited us to lunch.  It was a very enjoyable afternoon.

3-28-2013; beautiful sun set on Fort Myers Beach.

3-29-2013; Out for a short cruise on the Gulf of Mexico with Dave and Nancy.  Nancy got to see some dolphins which made her happy.

3-30-2013; Keith really likes this Donzi, it has 3-300 hp Mercs

3-31-2013; sun rise on Easter morning.  It turned out to be a beautiful day.  We were invited to dinner at our friends home, Nick and Aline.  We had a delicious meal and good conversation.

CO's comments:  The XO also likes the Donzi.  Every time a go fast comes rumbling by she is up looking and listening to them.  She especially likes the Fountains and Bajas.  The weekend boaters are at it again.  This time a woman and her daughter took out their 30' boat by themselves.  I asked if they needed help getting off the dock and they said "no, they were fine".  Well, a crunch and a big bang after they hit the dock, they finally got moving.  About 1/2 hour later they came back with their anchor dragging in the water.  I was down in the engine room but Bobbie was on the dock and this time they did ask for help.  They had never docked a boat before by themselves and they threw Bobbie their bow line and asked her to hold the boat so it didn't hit the boat in front of them.  The XO kindly said "I can not hold a boat that size" so she told the lady to shut off her engines and proceeded to tie them off.  The woman told Bobbie that she guessed she needed her husband after all.
