This is a video our friend Nick made of us when we were coming and also leaving his place just off the Caloosahatchee River this winter in Fort Myers, FL. It is kind of cool seeing our boat in motion.

April 30, 2013, still at Panama City, FL
Tuesday: Today is the last day that Looper Locator will work. AGLCA has discontinued this free application due to an increase in cost by Google. It is sad because we have used this since 2009 and we really like it. We are working on something new but have not got all the kinks out of it yet. We will continue to give our new coordinates at the bottom of each post and as soon as the replacement to Looper Locator is up and running we will let you know.
We are getting ready to head north. We will transport our cars this weekend and leave with the boats on Monday, May 6. We will be traveling again with our good friends Roy and Elvie from RoyEl.
CO's comments: When we came to this marina last fall the guy across from us introduced himself as an experienced captain for hire. Well, we are across from him again this Spring and after watching him dock a few times I am not so sure about his credentials If a boat is not secure to the dock and you try and step off the boat, common sense tells you that the boat is going to move and your step is going to be increasing longer as the moments go by. Pirates Cove is a very nice marina with good people and good rates. The only problem is there is a lot of skinny water and we have to wait for high tide to leave.
