What are these and which direction are we going?
Well, we have been here for a week now and we still don't have our new cutters on.  We are scheduled for Wednesday morning providing the winds die down some.  The wind was too strong to try to move the boat today.  There are 3 other boats here waiting for the weather to clear so they can go south also.  Our friends left on Sunday and are only 1 day ahead of us (weather).  They have had seas worse than us but are holding on.  Today I couldn't get off the boat without Keith's help because of high water.  Our ladder was too wide and my step stool was too short.  I ended up buying a new 2-step ladder.  Keith thinks the boat is going to sink because of all this extra weight.

CO's comments:  Today has been a wild one.  We have had neither a high tide or low tide.  It has been a 4' + surge off the gulf all day and seas on the gulf have been 9' plus.  Looking at the harbor water, all you see is a little ripple.  Yet there is a 3'+ roller under that ripple which tosses and turns your boat.  Bobbie met a lady from a 36' Sail boat that had to wear her "sea sick" bracelet's last night to bed so she could get some sleep .  Sail boats seem to rock and roll more than other boats.  Semi-displacement hauls are next as are displacement hauls up to 36'.  Then we have a 65' Hatteras Motor Yacht next to us which hardly moves.  This is all new to a mountain man from Montana and I like it.
